Brasserie La Pecherie sits on the bank of the Meuse in Wepion, the strawberry village of Belgium south of Namur. The brasserie specialises in fish dishes — from the sea but above all from the Meuse — alongside regional dishes that feature the renowned Wepion strawberries during the summer months. The wooden terrace with its view over the water is a popular destination for those following the Meuse route by boat or by bike.

The brasserie is fully step-free. The street-side main entrance has a flush threshold and an automatic door. The dining room and terrace are at ground level with generously spaced tables and a flat surface on the terrace. An adapted toilet with grab bars and an alarm button is located next to the kitchen. On request, the staff are happy to set up a table with optimal access.

A spacious paved car park with adapted spaces lies directly next to the brasserie. The RAVeL cycle route along the Meuse — one of the most accessible cycling and walking routes in Wallonia — passes right by the door and is ideal for handcyclists and wheelchair users with assistance. The centre of Namur is a five-minute drive away.
