♿ Wheelchair accessible

The Belfry of Mons is the only Baroque belfry in Belgium and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The 87-metre tower, built in the 17th century, dominates the city's skyline. Its carillon of 49 bells regularly plays melodies across the city. At the top, a viewing platform offers a breathtaking 360-degree panorama.

The ground floor of the belfry, including the exhibition space and historical information, is accessible for wheelchair users. The upper floors and the viewing platform are only reachable via stairs and therefore not suitable for wheelchairs. Adapted toilets are available near the entrance. The square surrounding the belfry is fully paved.

Disabled parking spaces are available on the Grand Place. The belfry is centrally located in Mons and can be combined with a visit to the Mons Memorial Museum, the Collegiate Church of Sainte-Waudru, and BAM (Beaux-Arts Mons).
