About this location

Rivierenhof is Antwerp's largest city park, spanning 130 hectares. The park offers an extensive network of walking paths through woodland, along ponds and across open meadows.

Walking routes

Several routes are available:

  • Short loop (1 km): Fully paved, along the large pond.
  • Medium loop (3 km): Via the castle and the rose garden.
  • Long loop (5 km): Through the entire park, including the wooded area.

The paved paths are easily navigable by wheelchair. Some paths in the wooded section are gravel and may be more challenging after rain.

  • Toilets: At the castle and the open-air theatre.
  • Parking: Large car park at the main entrance with accessible spaces.
  • Food & drink: Cafeteria near the castle.
