B&B Arenberghoeve Beveren-Waas

B&B Arenberghoeve sits in a quiet farmhouse setting on the edge of Beveren-Waas, on the transition between the Waasland and the Antwerp Left Bank. The B&B is housed in a restored Flemish farmhouse with several guest rooms, of which room Prosper on the ground floor is fully adapted for wheelchair users. Arenberghoeve obtained the VisitFlanders A-accessibility label — a basic accessibility standard physically verified by Inter Vlaanderen.

Room Prosper offers a step-free entrance from the own parking, a ground-floor bedroom with plenty of manoeuvring space, and a bathroom with adapted facilities: roll-in shower, grab rails, and a raised toilet. The wide doors (at least 80 cm) and the generous turning circle next to the bed make independent wheelchair transfers comfortable.

The breakfast room in the main building is step-free accessible via the ground-floor passage from room Prosper. The parking at the entrance has enough room for a transfer from the car. The farmhouse setting has a mix of gravel and paved paths — for finely tuned wheelchairs, ask in advance for the flattest route to the room. Beveren lies centrally in the Waasland and is a good base for trips to Sint-Niklaas, Antwerp (via the Left Bank), or Lokeren — all three 15-25 minutes away.
