Bar Mirwaar is a striking cocktail bar on the Burgstraat in the historic centre of Ghent, known for its eccentric yet stylish interior filled with curiosities, plants, and vintage finds. The bar specialises in handcrafted cocktails made with seasonal ingredients and house-made syrups, with bartenders who compose their creations with evident passion. Alongside cocktails, there is a fine selection of natural wines, craft gins, and non-alcoholic alternatives. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting — ideal for an evening out with friends or a pre-dinner aperitif in the neighbourhood.

Bar Mirwaar is entirely set on one level and fully accessible to wheelchair users. The entrance has no threshold, and the generous layout of the bar allows easy movement even when it is busy. An adapted toilet is available on the same level, with the necessary grab rails and sufficient turning space. The bar team is attentive and ensures that visitors using a wheelchair can sit comfortably at the bar or at a table of their choosing.

Bar Mirwaar is located on the Burgstraat, a charming street in the Patershol quarter near the Graslei and the Castle of the Counts. The street has a paved footpath and is easily reached on foot from the city centre. Trams 1 and 4 stop at the Korenmarkt, just a few minutes' walk away. Parking is limited in the immediate area, but Parking Ramen and Parking Sint-Michiels are reachable by car and both have adapted spaces.
