Design Museum Ghent is Belgium's premier museum for design in all its forms. Housed in an elegant 18th-century townhouse with a modern wing on Jan Breydelstraat, the museum offers a fascinating journey through the history of design, from art nouveau and art deco to contemporary product and graphic design. The collection includes furniture, ceramics, silverware, textiles and numerous other design objects from Belgium and abroad.

The museum is accessible to wheelchair users and people with reduced mobility via a specific wheelchair entrance at Drabstraat 10 (not the main Jan Breydelstraat entrance). From there, the lift reaches all floors. Accessible and gender-neutral toilets are located on level -1. The exhibition spaces are easy to navigate by wheelchair.

Design Museum Ghent is a place where the past and future of design come together. The combination of the historic building with contemporary architecture creates a unique atmosphere that takes visitors on a visual journey of discovery. With its changing exhibitions and educational programmes, the museum is a vibrant destination for anyone interested in design, creativity and craftsmanship.
