Museum Dhondt-Dhaenens (MDD) is a contemporary art museum in the picturesque village of Deurle, in the Leie region. Recognised by the Flemish Government, the museum makes important modern and contemporary private collections accessible to the public. With regularly changing exhibitions, MDD offers a fresh perspective on the contemporary art scene. The beautiful museum garden, featuring a flower meadow among other things, provides a pleasant extension to the museum visit.

Wheelchair accessibility is good. The museum building is accessible at ground level and the exhibition spaces offer sufficient room to move around comfortably in a wheelchair. The museum garden is also accessible via paved paths. Free parking is available at the front of the estate, with sufficient space for disabled parking. Sanitary facilities are adapted for wheelchair users.

MDD is situated in the heart of the artists' community of Sint-Martens-Latem and Deurle, a region that has inspired artists for over a century. A visit to the museum can ideally be combined with a walk along the River Leie. The Wunderkammer, a special space on the museum grounds, is accessible through the museum garden and adds an extra dimension to the visit.
