Hotel Harmony Ghent
Hotel Harmony is a small, carefully run boutique hotel by the water in Ghent's city centre, a few steps from the historic Patershol and the Gravensteen. The hotel offers rooms each with their own character, a cosy breakfast room with regional products, and an inner garden with swimming pool in season. For those who want to experience Ghent in all its facets, this is an atmospheric base.
The hotel has one fully wheelchair-accessible room on the lower floor, with roll-in shower, support, and an extra spacious layout. The main entrance has a step-free side access; the main entrance itself has a light raised threshold that is bridged on request with a portable ramp. The breakfast room is spaciously laid out with sufficient space between the tables.
There is no own car park, but the underground Vrijdagmarkt Car Park three hundred metres away offers reserved spaces and a lift. The route in between runs partly over the Ghent cobblestones, which can feel uneven for wheelchair users - an electric wheelchair or assistance is recommended. From Gent-Sint-Pieters it is best to take tram 1 to the Gravensteen stop, two hundred metres from the hotel.
