Brasserie Grand-Central is a classic right by Tournai station, a cosy meeting place for travellers, locals and visitors to the City of Five Bell Towers. The brasserie serves Belgian classics such as stewed beef with chips, mussels in season, croque-monsieur and an extensive beer list featuring Walloon brews. The interior is typically Belgian-brasserie with brown chairs, glass panelling and a handsome bar.

The main entrance has been lowered and is step-free. The dining room is on one level with wide paths between the tables. There is an adapted toilet on the ground floor with grab rails, a lowered washbasin and enough turning space. Staff are happy to offer a window table so that wheelchair users can comfortably take their place without any extra effort.

Adapted parking spaces are close to the station. Tournai station itself has lifts and adapted platforms, and the route from the station to the brasserie is entirely level and paved. From the brasserie, the historic centre of Tournai with its monumental cathedral is ten minutes' roll away via an accessible route.
