Hotel Jean Chalopin Brussels
Hotel Jean Chalopin is an atmospheric boutique hotel near the Grand Place and the Sablon district, housed in a carefully restored townhouse. It takes a personal approach, with only a limited number of rooms, a breakfast area featuring local products and a cosy lounge. The central location makes many of Brussels's cultural highlights reachable on foot.
One of the ground-floor rooms is specifically adapted for wheelchair users and has a roll-in shower, raised toilet, grab rails and enough turning room. The main entrance is step-free via a wide door with a bell; the staff assist on arrival. The lobby, lift and breakfast area are connected step-free. The lift is wide enough for a manual wheelchair; larger electric wheelchairs also fit.
The hotel does not have its own car park, but there are accessible spaces in the nearby Albertine public car park, linked directly to the centre by step-free routes. The immediate surroundings have wide, paved pavements. Brussels Central Station metro, with accessible lifts, is about ten minutes' roll away.
