Thon Hotel EU is set in the middle of the European Quarter of Brussels, close to the European Parliament, the Parc du Cinquantenaire and Place du Luxembourg. It is a large international hotel with a restaurant, fitness centre and extensive conference facilities, and attracts business travellers and tourists alike. The modern architecture creates a spaciously laid out lobby and generous rooms with plenty of natural light.

The hotel has several fully adapted rooms with a roll-in shower, raised toilet, grab rails, lowered washbasin and wide doors. The main entrance is step-free and fitted with large automatic sliding doors. All public floors, including restaurant, bar and fitness centre, are reachable by a spacious lift. Accessible toilets are on several floors and clearly marked.

The private underground car park has accessible parking spaces near the lift. The immediate surroundings are flat and excellently paved, with wide pavements and lowered kerbs. Maelbeek metro station, fully fitted with lifts, is a few minutes' wheelchair ride from the hotel. The Parc du Cinquantenaire is also reachable via a step-free route.
