♿ Wheelchair accessible

Astridpark is a charming, romantic city park in the historic centre of Bruges, laid out on the site of a former Friars Minor monastery. The park is known for its monumental trees, flower beds, a pond with ducks and the iconic neo-Gothic bandstand that each summer hosts musical performances. It is a favourite spot for locals and tourists looking for a quiet break from the crowds.

The paths in the park are largely paved and wide enough for wheelchairs, mobility scooters and prams. There are no steep gradients, and the full route around the pond can be completed barrier-free. Several benches along the paths provide resting places, and adapted picnic tables are partially available. A partially adapted public toilet lies within short walking distance of the main entrance.

The immediate surroundings of Astridpark include typical Bruges cobblestones, but several entrances are set up to guarantee a barrier-free connection to the park's path network. Accessible parking spaces are available in the nearby Katelijne public car park. Entry to the park is free and possible from sunrise to sunset.
