The Bibliothèque publique of Seraing is a modern municipal facility with an extensive French-language collection of books, comics, magazines, films and digital resources. There is a separate youth section, workstations with internet access and regular activities such as reading clubs, author lectures and workshops. Seraing is a former industrial steel city on the edge of Liège, and the library regularly collaborates with associations that maintain the industrial heritage.

The library is easily accessible for wheelchair users. The entrance is step-free and the aisles between the shelves are spacious. A lift connects the floors so that all collections can be reached. An accessible toilet is available and the staff are happy to help find books on higher shelves.

Reserved parking spaces are available in the immediate vicinity. The library is centrally located in Seraing. Combine your visit with the Hôtel de Ville or the Parc de Seraing within walking distance.
