The Centre Culturel de Couvin is the cultural reference point of the southern Namur province. It programmes theatre, concerts, lectures, children's performances and cinema, and works with schools and associations from across the Botte du Hainaut and the Ardennes border region. The centre also provides space for workshops, exhibitions and gatherings for the local community.

The building was designed with accessibility in mind: the main entrance is at ground level, a lift connects the public floors, and the theatre hall has fixed seats for wheelchair users with a clear view of the stage. Adapted toilets are available on the ground floor, as well as an accessible reception desk. The cinema screenings have spaces for wheelchair users.

In front of the building is a paved car park with PMR spaces; additional parking is available in the centre of Couvin. The cultural centre is a good base for an evening out, combined with a visit to the Neptune Caves or the natural surroundings of the Viroin Valley during the day.
