The Abbaye de Gembloux is an imposing 18th-century complex in the heart of the town. Formerly a Benedictine abbey, it now houses the renowned agronomy faculty of the University of Liège. Students, researchers and visitors can explore the stately courtyard, the cloister gardens and the surrounding buildings.

Accessibility is partial because it is a listed historic building. The large courtyard is step-free via the main entrance and the ground-floor corridors are accessible. Some upper floors and older stairwells remain harder to reach. An accessible toilet is available in the modern extension.

Around the abbey there are several car parks with reserved bays. Gembloux station is within walking distance, which makes a visit by train attractive.
