The Domaine de la Galoperie is a quiet recreational area on the edge of Tubize, on the transition between the city and the Hainaut countryside. Formerly part of an industrial landscape along the Senne, today it is a green lung with ponds, a large picnic meadow, play zones for children and walking routes through woods and meadows.

The main paths in the domain are paved or firmly compacted and flat, allowing wheelchair users and families with strollers to explore the central area easily. Some side paths run over grass or soft earth and are less suitable after rain. At the main entrance is a flat car park with PMR spaces, and during the season sanitary facilities including an adapted toilet are available.

The domain is freely accessible and lies within walking distance of the centre of Tubize and the train station. It is a pleasant base for a short walk or picnic and is regularly used for local events, sports initiatives and summer activities for children.
