Hengelhoef is a recreational estate in Houthalen-Helchteren, set in extensive pine forests on the edge of the Hoge Kempen National Park. The estate offers a subtropical swimming paradise, an adventure park, a climbing park, mountain bike trails, and a large playground. It is a popular day-trip destination in Limburg.

The subtropical swimming pool has adapted changing rooms and a hoist for entering the water. The reception, restaurant, and central facilities are accessible at ground level. The playground is reachable via paved paths. The climbing park and some outdoor activities are not suitable for wheelchair users. Adapted toilets are available at the swimming pool and restaurant.

Spacious parking with disabled bays is available at the main entrance. The estate is easily reachable via the E314. Booking for the swimming pool is recommended at weekends and during holidays.
