La Boverie is the fine arts museum of Liege, housed in a beautifully renovated building from 1905 in the Parc de la Boverie. The museum, which has a partnership with the Louvre in Paris, holds a permanent collection of Belgian and international art from the 16th century to the present day, complemented by high-quality temporary exhibitions. The park itself sits on an island formed by the Meuse river and a diversion canal, giving it a particularly picturesque setting.

The museum is fully accessible for wheelchair users. The entrance is step-free and all exhibition spaces can be reached by lift. Adapted toilets are available inside the museum. The exhibition halls are spaciously laid out with wide passageways. The surrounding park offers paved paths that are easily navigable by wheelchair, ideal for a leisurely stroll before or after visiting the museum.

Parking in the immediate vicinity is limited, but a few PMR spaces are available near the park. The museum can also be reached by public transport from the centre of Liege. La Boverie is closed on Tuesdays. The combination of art and nature in the park makes this one of the most pleasant cultural outings in the city of Liege.
