The Musée de la Vie rurale en Wallonie in Liège is dedicated to everyday life in the rural regions of Wallonia up to the twentieth century. The collection includes tools, furniture, clothing, kitchenware and testimonies that document the hard but colourful life of the Walloon countryside. Visitors get a vivid picture of the crafts, festivities and traditions that shaped village life for generations.

The museum is fully accessible for wheelchair users. The main entrance is step-free and fitted with an automatic door. A lift connects all floors and the walkways are wide enough for electric wheelchairs. Adapted toilets are available on the ground floor. On request, staff offer guided tours with extra attention for visitors with a mobility or sensory impairment.

The surrounding area in the centre of Liège is paved and largely step-free, with wide pavements and lowered kerbs. Accessible parking spaces are available in nearby public car parks. The museum is a short tram ride from Liège-Guillemins station, which is fully accessible via lift. Adapted low-floor buses stop nearby.
