M Leuven is the art museum of the city of Leuven and ranks among the most important museums in Flanders. The museum houses an impressive collection ranging from late-Gothic masterpieces by Rogier van der Weyden and Dirk Bouts to contemporary art. The changing exhibitions continually draw surprising connections between old and new. The building itself, an elegant interplay of historic architecture and modern additions, is situated on the Ladeuzeplein in the heart of the university city.

Accessibility at M is excellent. The museum is fully accessible for wheelchairs and buggies. All exhibition halls on the upper floors can be reached by lift. The garden, the cafe and the toilets are also wheelchair accessible. Two wheelchairs and twenty folding chairs are available and can be reserved by email or telephone. In the underground car park at Ladeuzeplein, just fifty metres from the museum, eighteen reserved disabled parking spaces are available.

If you have reduced mobility and cannot get from Leuven Station to M on your own, the museum will assist you free of charge if you contact them at least five working days before your visit. Your companion receives free admission to the museum. M Leuven is a place where art is made accessible to everyone, regardless of ability.
