Stadsbibliotheek Brugge De Biekorf

The Stadsbibliotheek De Biekorf is Bruges' central public library, housed in a modern building near Kuipersstraat. It has a very extensive collection of books, comics, music, films and digital media for all ages. There is a dedicated children's section, study areas and regular lectures, storytelling sessions and exhibitions.

The building is fully accessible for wheelchair users. The entrance is step-free and a lift serves all floors. The spaces between the shelves are wide enough for wheelchair users. Accessible toilets are available on several floors. Workstations and reading corners are at an accessible height.

De Biekorf is centrally located in Bruges, a short distance from the Market Square and the Concertgebouw. Adapted parking spaces are available in nearby car parks. The library is excellently served by public transport.
