The Stadsbibliotheek of Maaseik is the public library of this Meuse town and offers a wide collection of books, comics, magazines and digital media for all ages. There is a dedicated children's section with a storytelling corner, as well as study areas for teenagers and adults. The library regularly organises activities such as lectures, storytelling sessions and exhibitions.

The building is fitted out for wheelchair users. The entrance is step-free and a lift serves all floors. The spaces between the shelves are wide enough to manoeuvre comfortably. Accessible toilets are available and computer workstations are at an accessible height.

The library is in the centre of Maaseik, within walking distance of the Market Square and the Regional Archaeological Museum. Parking with adapted spaces is available nearby. The library is also well served by public transport.
