The Public Library of Beringen is a modern municipal facility with an extensive collection of books, comics, magazines, films and digital resources. There is a separate youth section, workstations with internet access and regular activities such as reading clubs, storytelling sessions and workshops. Beringen is a former mining town and the library regularly collaborates with the mining heritage of Mijnmuseum Beringen.

The library is easily accessible for wheelchair users. The entrance is step-free and the aisles between the shelves are spacious. A lift connects the floors so that all collections can be reached. An accessible toilet is available and the staff are happy to help find books on higher shelves.

Reserved parking spaces are available in the immediate vicinity. The library is centrally located in Beringen. Combine your visit with the Town Hall, the City Park or the Mijnmuseum.
