Town Hall Beringen
The Town Hall of Beringen is the administrative centre of the city and houses the departments of civil affairs, spatial planning, social services and reception. Beringen is a former mining town in Limburg — the city has a strong industrial heritage context which is visible via the Mijnmuseum and the heritage site De Kolonie. The building is centrally located within walking distance of the main shopping streets.
The main entrance is step-free accessible for wheelchair users. Inside, the corridors are spacious and a lift connects the floors. The reception has a lowered counter for comfortable contact. An accessible toilet is available. For specific appointments (for example a wedding ceremony) it is advisable to call in advance so the staff can arrange the accessible flow with extra care.
Reserved parking spaces are available in the immediate vicinity. Combine your visit with the Public Library or the City Park within walking distance.
