Stadspark Maaseik
The City Park of Maaseik is a beautiful green area close to the historic centre of this Meuse town. The park offers a peaceful atmosphere with old trees, flower beds and open lawns. Families will find a playground, and walkers can enjoy lovely routes through the greenery. The park is popular with residents and visitors to the Meuse valley.
The main paths are paved and level, so the City Park is easy to access for wheelchair users and people with rollators. Benches are plentiful along the paths. An accessible toilet is available nearby, in cafés or public facilities. Level changes are limited.
Parking with adapted facilities for people with reduced mobility is available in the surrounding streets. The City Park is within walking distance of the Market Square and can be combined with a visit to the Regional Archaeological Museum or the historic town centre.
