Trinkhall Museum
The Trinkhall Museum in Liege is a unique museum dedicated to art brut and outsider art. Housed in a strikingly renovated building in the Parc d'Avroy, designed by the Beguin-Massart architecture firm, the museum showcases works by artists who operate outside the traditional art world, often people with intellectual disabilities or experiencing social exclusion. The museum gives these artists a dignified platform and challenges visitors to reflect on the boundaries of art.
The Trinkhall Museum is fully accessible for wheelchair users. The building was designed from the ground up with a focus on inclusion and universal accessibility. All spaces can be reached by lift or ramp, and the wide passageways make navigation straightforward. Adapted toilets are available. The exhibition layout is intentionally designed so that all works can be easily viewed from a seated position.
The museum is centrally located in Liege, in the Parc d'Avroy along the Boulevard d'Avroy. Parking in the immediate vicinity is limited, but PMR spaces are available in nearby streets. The museum is well served by public transport. After your visit, take a stroll through the park, where paved paths offer a pleasant route along the pond and green spaces.
