Château de Namur Restaurant
Château de Namur is an elegant hotel restaurant housed in a stately castle on the Citadel of Namur. The restaurant offers a breathtaking panoramic view over the confluence of the Meuse and the Sambre and acts as a training school for future chefs of Walloon hospitality. The cuisine is refined French-Belgian using regional products, with a menu that changes with the seasons.
Although the building is historic, the main areas have been made accessible. The main entrance can be reached step-free via a side entrance and lift. The main ground-floor restaurant has generous passages, and an adapted toilet is provided on the same level. Some individual salons in the older wing are harder to access; mention your requirements when booking so that the team can arrange a spot in the main restaurant or on the panoramic terrace.
There are adapted parking spaces right in front of the castle. The path from the car park to the entrance is paved but slightly sloping due to the castle's position on the citadel hill. An alternative is an accessible taxi that drops visitors off right at the main entrance. From Namur station it is about ten minutes' drive.
