♿ Wheelchair accessible

Quick Rocourt is a hamburger restaurant in the commercial heart of Rocourt (Liège). The site sits on a clear slope, which forms the fundamental accessibility challenge: entrance 1 and the kitchen/tills are on the ground floor, while entrance 2 and two dining floors sit one level higher. The different levels are internally connected only by stairs — so for wheelchair users the usual fast-food route is not accessible.

Visited in June 2026 — here is our honest experience:

What does work:

  • Via a steep ramp to entrance 2 you can get inside at the dining-floor level
  • At the order kiosk there you place your order without having to pass the till
  • The order is brought to your table — a fine practice
  • The dining areas themselves are spacious enough for wheelchair manoeuvres

What is problematic:

  • The ramp to entrance 2 is quite steep — for some wheelchair users this requires assistance
  • The accessible toilet is in the basement, only reachable via a goods lift. When asked, staff were very willing and used the goods lift to help us reach the toilet. The toilet itself is well equipped, but the "via the goods lift" feeling is not exactly pleasant
  • Doors in the toilet areas are fairly narrow — for wider wheelchairs (electric chairs, sports wheelchairs) this can become a real problem
  • Access to Quick from the surrounding car park is not straightforward: we initially parked at the Tesla Superchargers, but from there you have to travel stretches over the car-park road to reach Quick — there is no safe footpath. So look for a parking spot closer to entrance 2.

Our summary: Quick Rocourt is a not-ideal-but-doable address for anyone who wants a fast-food hamburger in the region with willing staff. Budget ~20 minutes at the start for finding the right parking + driving up to entrance 2, and accept that the toilet visit turns into a goods-lift adventure. For anyone with a wider wheelchair: verify the toilet door width by phone in advance.

Alternative: for comfortable fast food in the Liège area, the McDonald's branches along the Liège ring road are usually better adapted (modern build year, better universal accessibility). For a truly Liège experience at a comfortable level: see our Liège city trip guide.

Good to know

Reservation
No reservation needed for fast food. **Willing staff** — let them know on arrival that you are a wheelchair user, they actively help with toilet access via the goods lift.
Busy and quiet times
Weekend lunch (12pm-2pm) and Saturday evening are busiest. Weekday afternoons (3pm-5pm) offer the calmest experience and easiest toilet assistance.
Things to note
**Multiple internal levels connected only by stairs** — use the ramp to entrance 2 (order kiosk + table service), but the accessible toilet is in the **basement, only reachable via a goods lift**. Doors in the toilet areas are **fairly narrow** — wider wheelchairs may run into problems.
Visit tip
**Do NOT park at the Tesla Superchargers** — from there you have to travel stretches over the car-park road to reach Quick (no safe footpath). Look for a parking spot closer to entrance 2. Staff are very willing with the goods-lift-toilet route.
