Restaurant L'Amandier Durbuy
Restaurant L'Amandier is in the heart of historic Durbuy, often described as the smallest town in the world, just metres from the banks of the Ourthe and the castle of Durbuy. The restaurant offers refined French-Belgian cuisine with a strong focus on Ardennes produce — game in season, trout from local fish farms and truffle from the regional soil — served in an elegant setting with exposed timber-framed walls and modern accents.
Accessibility is partially developed due to the historic character of the building. The main entrance has a slight threshold of two centimetres that can be bridged with an extendable ramp; please mention this when booking. The dining room on the ground floor is largely flat and offers sufficient passage between the tables. The adapted toilet with grab bars and turning space has been recently renovated and is easily reached via a short hallway.
The cobbled environment of Durbuy is challenging for wheelchair users, with uneven paving in many streets. The town car park on the edge of the centre has a few adapted spaces, and on request restaurant guests may park closer for a short time. Ask about the most accessible route when booking.
