♿ Wheelchair accessible

Restaurant La Chaloupe sits in the centre of Ottignies and has long been a favourite for fans of French-Belgian bistro cooking in a relaxed setting. The menu changes with the seasons and includes classics such as tournedos rossini and sea bass in a salt crust as well as lighter lunch dishes. The building was recently renovated, with attention paid to smooth circulation and a homely atmosphere thanks to warm lighting and an open fireplace in winter.

Accessibility is well looked after for a city-centre venue. The main entrance is at ground level with a flush threshold, and the dining room is entirely on one level. The tables are spaciously arranged so that a wheelchair can be seated without any difficulty, and the staff are happy to set up a tailored table when booking. An adapted toilet with grab bars and turning space is provided on the same floor.

The restaurant has its own car park with adapted spaces close to the entrance. The surroundings are paved and flat, and Ottignies station is a five-minute walk away. TEC buses run right up to the door, with adapted stops.
