Restaurant 't Achterhuis Overijse

Restaurant 't Achterhuis is a family-run restaurant in the centre of Overijse, on the border between Flemish Brabant and Walloon Brabant. The establishment is housed in a renovated building behind the main street — hence the name, which means the back house — and offers a peaceful garden as a terrace. The menu is Belgian with seasonal produce from local growers and winemakers from the Druivenstreek; the house speciality is a braised veal cheek with regional Hageling wine.

Accessibility is well looked after despite the central location. The side entrance to the building has a flat concrete approach and automatic doors.
