Restaurant Le Clos Saint-Jean Arlon
Le Clos Saint-Jean is a renowned restaurant in the historic centre of Arlon, a stone's throw from the Place Leopold and the Musee Archeologique. The building dates from the 18th century and has been expertly restored while preserving the stone walls and vaulted ceilings. The cuisine is refined French-Belgian with an extensive wine list in which Burgundy and Mosel wines feature prominently — a nod to Arlon's geographical position at the crossroads of Belgian, French and Luxembourg influences.
Accessibility is partially developed due to the historic character. The main entrance has a slight threshold and is fitted with a portable ramp on request. The main dining room is on the ground floor with sufficient passage between the tables. An adapted toilet with grab bars and alarm cord is reachable via a short flat hallway at the rear. A second dining room on the first floor is only accessible by stairs.
In the immediate vicinity, several adapted parking spaces are provided on the Place Leopold, three minutes' walk away. The town centre is largely paved, although a few older streets are cobbled. Arlon station, ten minutes away, has an accessible platform with lifts.
