Musée Archéologique d'Arlon
The Musée Archéologique d'Arlon is one of the oldest museums in Belgium and houses an exceptional collection of Gallo-Roman sculptures and bas-reliefs. The collection comprises more than 400 stone monuments that bear witness to daily life in Roman Arlon. The museum was recently renovated and offers a modern museum experience with interactive elements.
Following the renovation, the museum is excellently accessible for wheelchair users. The entrance is step-free and all exhibition spaces are reachable via lifts and wide corridors. The display cases and information panels are placed at an accessible height. Adapted toilets are available and the reception is helpful.
The museum is located in the centre of Arlon, the capital of the Province of Luxembourg. Parking is available in the immediate area, including reserved spaces for persons with reduced mobility. Arlon is reachable by train and the station is a short distance from the museum.
