The Musée gaumais in Virton is the principal museum of the Gaume region, the southernmost area of Belgium. Housed in a former monastery, the museum displays the history, traditions, archaeology and nature of this distinctive region. The collection includes archaeological finds from the Gallo-Roman period, folk art and a natural history section.

The ground floor of the museum is fully wheelchair accessible with wide passageways and level floors. The upper floor can be reached by lift. Adapted toilets are available on the ground floor. The museum garden is partly accessible via paved paths. Some older sections of the monastery building have narrow passageways.

Parking is available on the square in front of the museum with accessible spaces. The museum is located in the centre of Virton, which is known for its mild microclimate and gastronomy. The museum regularly hosts temporary exhibitions and workshops.
