Aqua & Playa Ostend

Aqua & Playa is the cosy swimming pool of the city of Ostend, located in the Raversijde sub-district. The complex combines a sports pool, a recreational wave pool, a children's pool, and a bubble zone. With its tropical decor and friendly atmosphere it is a popular destination for families, both from the region and for coastal visitors on a rainy day.

Accessibility is well thought out. The main entrance is step-free with automatic doors. Adapted changing cubicles with their own shower, a fold-down bench, and grab rails are available. The pool has a lift chair for wheelchair users to enter and exit the water safely, along with a wide staircase with handrails. Adapted toilets are located near the cubicles and by the cafeteria. The cash desk has a lowered counter.

Disabled parking spaces are available right in front of the main entrance. People with a disability and their companion enjoy a reduced rate. A few hours per week are set aside as a quiet or inclusive swimming session for extra comfort. From the centre of Ostend, Aqua & Playa is reachable by bus or car.
