Autoworld
Autoworld is a major automobile museum located in the south hall of the Cinquantenaire complex in Brussels, a splendid iron-and-glass structure built for the 1897 World Exhibition. The collection brings together more than 300 vehicles tracing the history of motorised transport from the late 19th century to the present day. Belgian marques such as Minerva and FN feature prominently alongside European and American classics, with themed sections covering vintage cars, sports cars, motorcycles and the evolution of automotive design.
The spacious ground floor of the museum is entirely step-free, allowing wheelchair users to view the majority of the collection without encountering any barriers. An elevator provides access to the first-floor galleries, where additional vehicles and temporary exhibitions are displayed. Adapted restrooms are available inside the museum, and the wide aisles between exhibits leave plenty of room to manoeuvre comfortably.
Reserved PMR parking spaces are available in the area surrounding the Cinquantenaire Park, and the nearby Merode metro station on lines 1 and 5 is equipped with an elevator. The park itself offers pleasant paved paths for a stroll before or after your visit, connecting Autoworld with the neighbouring Royal Museum of Art and History and the Military Museum.
