Brabanthal Leuven
The Brabanthal in Leuven is a large multifunctional complex serving as an events hall, sports venue, and conference centre. The complex comprises multiple halls with a total area of over 10,000 m² and is used for trade fairs, concerts, sports competitions, and cultural events.
The entire complex is on a single level and fully wheelchair accessible. The halls have wide entrances, flat floors, and ample space for wheelchairs. At sporting events, reserved wheelchair spaces are available on the stands. Adapted toilets are present in every hall. During major events, stewards are on hand to provide guidance.
Spacious parking with disabled bays is available directly by the entrances. The complex is easily reachable via the E40 and the Leuven ring road. There is a bus stop at the entrance.
Good to know
- Reservation
- Reservations are handled by the organiser of the specific event; for sporting events it is best to request reserved wheelchair spaces in the stand in advance.
- Busy and quiet times
- How busy it is depends entirely on the event; trade fairs and concerts see peaks around opening and closing times.
- Things to note
- The whole complex is on one level and step-free, so there are few limitations; large events can make the walkways crowded, however.
- Visit tip
- The spacious car park with accessible-parking spaces lies right by the entrances; at large events, ask a steward to guide you to your seat.
