Cheval Rose Seneffe
Cheval Rose is a horse farm and educational estate in Seneffe, a short distance from the well-known Château de Seneffe. The site focuses on animal welfare, equine-assisted therapy and education for families. Children can meet ponies, horses, goats and other farm animals up close. Special experiences around hippotherapy and accessible activities for children with disabilities make this an outstanding outing.
The site has been designed with accessibility as a starting point. The paths between the meadows and the meeting areas are paved and flat. The meeting space is step-free and has ample turning space around the animals. Accessible toilets are available in the visitor section with support bars, a low washbasin and sufficient manoeuvring space. The team is trained in supporting visitors with reduced mobility and in delivering equine-assisted therapy sessions for wheelchair users.
The car park on the estate is paved and has reserved spaces next to the entrance. The surrounding countryside is level and offers a pleasant extension to your visit via paved rural lanes. Combine your outing with the nearby Château de Seneffe, which also offers accessible paths and an adapted museum tour, or with a visit to the accessible visitor centre of the Canal du Centre.
