♿ Wheelchair accessible

The Collégiale Notre-Dame de Huy is an impressive Gothic collegiate church on the bank of the Meuse, directly opposite the Citadelle de Huy. The building dates from the 14th century and has beautiful stained-glass windows, a valuable organ and a famous rose window. The treasury displays precious relics and reliquaries from the Meuse Valley, including the shrine of Saint Mengold.

The main entrance has a few historic steps, but a side entrance with a gentle ramp provides wheelchair access to the nave. The main aisle is flat and spacious, making large sections easy to navigate. The treasury, however, has narrower and lower-ceilinged spaces that are not fully wheelchair accessible. Check opening hours in advance, as the two parts sometimes follow different schedules.

Parking is available in the nearby public car park along the Meuse, with accessible spaces. The quay along the Meuse is paved and flat, providing a pleasant connection to a walk along the river.
