Domein Hertberg is a green recreational estate on the edge of Hasselt. The estate combines open meadows, small woods and landscaped ditches and is popular with walkers, joggers and families with children. A playground, picnic spots and information panels about the local nature make it an accessible green lung within the city.

The main paths through the estate are wide and paved, with limited elevation differences, making the estate especially suitable for wheelchair users and rollator walkers. A circular loop leads visitors past the most attractive spots in the park. Benches and viewpoints are provided in several places. Accessible toilets are limited and located at the catering venue on the estate.

At the main entrance there is a free car park with disabled parking spaces a short distance from the path to the central square. The estate is connected by walking and cycling routes to other green areas in and around Hasselt. For anyone looking for an easy, accessible nature walk near the city, Hertberg is an ideal destination.
