Domein Kiewit
Domein Kiewit is a 130-hectare nature estate on the outskirts of Hasselt and serves as one of the gateways to the Hoge Kempen National Park. The estate combines nature with recreation: there are extensive walking paths, a large adventure playground, a visitor centre, and a cafeteria with terrace.
The visitor centre is fully wheelchair accessible with automatic doors, a lift, and adapted toilets. Two wheelchair-friendly walking routes depart from the centre along paved paths through heathland and forest. The playground includes some inclusive play equipment. The cafeteria with terrace is accessible at ground level.
Spacious parking with disabled bays is located right by the visitor centre. The estate is free to enter all year round. There are regular nature activities and seasonal events. Domein Kiewit is an ideal starting point for exploring the nature of Limburg.
