♿ Wheelchair accessible

The Hôtel de Ville of Herstal is the administrative centre of the town and houses the civil affairs, spatial planning, social affairs and reception services. The wedding room is used for marriage ceremonies and official occasions. Herstal is a French-speaking municipality on the edge of Liège with its own administrative services. The building lies centrally, within walking distance of the main shopping streets.

The main entrance is step-free and accessible to wheelchair users. Inside, the corridors are spacious and a lift connects the floors. A lower counter height is provided at reception for comfortable contact. An accessible toilet is available. For specific appointments (for example a marriage ceremony), it is advisable to call in advance so staff can ensure the extra accessibility flow.

Reserved parking spaces are available in the immediate vicinity. Consider combining your visit with the Bibliothèque publique within walking distance or the Parc de Herstal for a half day in Herstal.
