Bad Neuenahr Eupen
Bad Neuenahr in Eupen is the town's sports and wellness complex, with a 25-metre pool, a leisure pool, a steam room, a sauna and a fitness suite. The centre is popular with sports clubs, schools and families from the German-speaking Community and from the hilly region around Liège. Outside school hours there are free swim sessions and aquafit classes, including adapted versions for seniors and people with chronic conditions.
The facilities have been thoughtfully designed with accessibility in mind. At the entrance there is a flat approach and a reception desk with a lowered section. The changing area has adapted cabins with their own shower, fold-down bench and support bars. A mobile pool hoist is installed on request at the deep end of the main pool. Accessible toilets are located both near the pool entrance and near the cafeteria. The sauna can be reached without stairs via a gently sloped path.
Parking is available directly in front of the building, with several reserved spaces within short walking distance of the main entrance. Bad Neuenahr is close to the centre of Eupen and can be reached by bus from the station; the bus stop opposite has a raised platform. The pavement around the building is flat and paved, with a slight slope towards the main entrance.
