The Letterenhuis in Antwerp is the literary archive of Flanders. It preserves letters, manuscripts, photos, and personal belongings of great authors such as Hugo Claus, Willem Elsschot, Hendrik Conscience, and Paul van Ostaijen. In addition to the archive, the building houses a permanent exhibition on Flemish literature and changing exhibitions around specific writers or themes.

The entrance on the Minderbroedersstraat is wheelchair accessible via an adapted ramp. Inside, all public spaces, including the permanent exhibition rooms, are reachable via a modern lift. Adapted toilets are present on the ground floor. The reading and study room is also accessible for those who want to consult the archive, and staff are happy to help with handling or setting up material.

The Letterenhuis is located in the historic heart of Antwerp, a short distance from the Rubens House and the cathedral. The streets are mostly level with brick paving. Disabled parking spaces can be found in the Oudaan car park. Access is free for persons with a European Disability Card and their companion.
