Good to know

Reservation
Booking a time slot online avoids queues at the desk, especially for international visitors and on weekends. Companions of visitors with a disability receive free admission — mention this at the reservation or at the desk.
Busy and quiet times
Cruise ship days and summer weekends create crowds in the Diamond District and in the museum. Weekday mornings offer the calmest visit conditions for wheelchair users who want to use an audio guide without crowd pressure.
Things to note
The display cases sit at various heights; some smaller jewels are harder to view from a seated position — ask at the desk for the available stool for extra height if that helps. Tactile elements are provided for visitors with a visual impairment.
Visit tip
DIVA is within walking distance of the Grote Markt (Main Square) and the Cathedral of Our Lady — ideal for combining into a half day in central Antwerp. Allow one and a half hours for the permanent collection plus audio tour.
