De Scheldespieghel is a classic fish restaurant with a view over the Scheldt and the Steen. It is known for fresh North Sea fish, shrimp croquettes, seafood waterzooi and a broad list of Belgian and French wines. The interior combines maritime accents with warm wooden elements and offers a sunny terrace for anyone who wants to soak up the Scheldt bustle.

The entrance from the redeveloped quays is fully step-free thanks to the ramps that were added during the Scheldt quays' overhaul. The dining room is on the ground floor without steps and offers enough turning room. The accessible toilet is reachable without level differences and meets current PRM standards. The terrace on the quays is fully paved with flat strips.

Parking with a disabled permit is limited along the Plantin en Moretuslei; the larger Parking Zuid or Parking Grote Markt are a ten-minute roll away along the new Scheldt quays walk. The walking route along the Scheldt to the MAS is flat, paved and particularly pleasant for wheelchair users.
