Hotel Rubens-Grote Markt is a four-star hotel housed in a series of connected historic buildings in the car-free heart of Antwerp. The hotel combines historic charm with modern comfort: sixty rooms are arranged around an atmospheric inner garden with the famous medieval Mercator Tower. The lobby, breakfast lounge and bar are all on the ground floor.

Because this is a historic property, accessibility is partial. The main entrance has been adapted with a folding ramp and staff are on hand to place it on request. There is one fully adapted room on the ground floor, equipped with a walk-in shower with a bench, grab rails at the toilet and a lowered mirror. The other rooms are reachable via a modern lift, although access to some older wings is limited by small steps. Book directly with the hotel to be sure of an adapted room.

The hotel is in the pedestrian zone, which means that the immediate surroundings are partly cobbled. The hotel has one adapted parking space close by, and the nearby Grote Markt car park is fully accessible. Trams 3 and 5 stop at Groenplaats, 200 metres from the hotel via a level route.
