Restaurant Noordzee is an institution for fans of fresh fish and seafood in Antwerp. The restaurant serves daily catches straight from the fish market: North Sea shrimp, sole, cod, oysters and seasonal fish take centre stage on a classic but refined menu. The interior is warm and traditional, with dark wood and white linen tablecloths evoking a timeless brasserie atmosphere.

The entrance of Restaurant Noordzee is step-free and wide enough for wheelchair users. The ground-floor dining room is spaciously laid out, although during busy moments it can be useful to reserve in advance and request a spot close to the entrance. There is an adapted toilet with grab bars and ample manoeuvring space. The staff are discreet, helpful and well briefed on the needs of guests with reduced mobility.

The restaurant is located on a lively shopping street near the Meir, within walking distance of Antwerp Central station. The immediate surroundings are fully paved and largely traffic-free. Parking spaces for holders of a disabled parking card are a few minutes away in the underground Parking Meir, which is equipped with a lift and adapted spaces. Trams 3, 5, 9 and 15 stop less than three minutes' walk from the entrance.
