Het Bos Antwerp
Het Bos is an artistic house in Antwerp — a hub where art, social engagement and encounter take centre stage. A living house, filled and driven by all kinds of makers and users who often leave their mark. Het Bos aims to be at once an autonomous place with its own rules and artistic practices, and an accessible place that builds connections with the neighbourhood and the city's residents.
Here young artists, performers, cooks, tinkerers, thinkers, dancers and drinkers come together to create, cook, chat, think, dance, drink or simply be. The programme and activities vary throughout the year — check the website for current events, exhibitions and welcoming opening moments.
The entrance is step-free and accessible for wheelchair users. The corridors and common areas are spacious enough to manoeuvre and an accessible toilet is available. For specific events (concerts, exhibitions on upper floors) it is recommended to contact the venue in advance so staff can ensure additional accessible flow.
