The Royal Conservatory of Antwerp is the music and performing arts department of AP University College. Although it is an educational institution, students and teachers programme public performances, examination concerts and guest appearances throughout the academic year. Lovers of classical music, jazz and contemporary composition will find here an accessible and affordable way to discover rising talent. The concert hall is housed in a restored historic building on Desguinlei, close to the Stadspark.

Accessibility of the public spaces is well thought through. The main entrance has step-free access via a ramp, and a lift connects the various floors. In the concert hall, dedicated wheelchair spaces are reserved, with a companion seat alongside. Reserve these in advance through the online ticket office or at the box office. An accessible toilet is on the ground floor, right next to the hall entrance. The foyer and bar are step-free and offer enough space for a wheelchair.

Parking is possible nearby on the street or in one of the public car parks around the Stadspark, with a few accessible spaces. The conservatory is a five-minute walk from the Harmonie tram stop and the Stadspark Antwerp. Combine a concert visit with an accessible outing nearby, such as the M HKA or the Antwerp City Hall.
